From Big Money to Meaning

For 5 years, I was an Elixir developer in iGaming and Crypto. High marginal business brought good money. Complex technical challenges. The kind of work that looks impressive on a CV. But it seems to be a good time to turn the page and start a new chapter in my life.

If you go deeper into my LinkedIn profile, you could find out that I have a Master’s degree in Biology and Biochemistry. It was and still is my passion to research and discover how living beings operate. And I want this passion to become more than a hobby and serve humanity.

Every morning, just after getting out of bed, I meditate with Insight Timer and monitor my health with Welltory. These tools helped me recover from the depression that started a couple of years ago and grounded me enough to see the truth: I was spending 8 hours building things that are not aligned with my Buddhist values just for money.

I have over 15 years of experience building scalable systems, handling real-time data, and solving hard technical problems. I want my combined knowledge and experience to help others as much as possible; that’s why I started Lama Bot, a side project, 2 years ago. But it’s hard to move alone, even with support from the community.

So I decided to make a big move toward something that matters.

I’m actively looking for positions in:

Wellness tech (startups, scale-ups, health platforms)

Healthcare systems (EHR, diagnostics, patient care platforms)

Bioinformatics (research infrastructure, genomics, computational biology)

I’m based in Perm, Russia, but I am fully remote-first. I’m someone who brings philosophy to code and code to purpose.

If you’re building something that reduces suffering or if you know someone who does, let’s talk.
